Teachers’ Jobs

We went around the middle school and asked a few teachers what subjects they teach and why the chose to teach that or those subjects.
Mrs. Philpott said, “8th General math, 8th grade History, and 6th 7th grade computer applications.” “ I wanted to try something different and i like history.”
Mr. Mallicoat said, “Principle.” “ Because i like working with students, teachers, parents, and community members.”
Mrs. Mueller said “Counselor.” “Because i was looking for a change and i thought this would be a great way to help kids.”
Mrs. Thompson said, “teacher and librarian.” “Because i get to help every kid and teacher in the building. I like kids.
Mrs. Smalley said, “7th grade Literature, 7th grade math, 8th grade math concepts, and 6th, 7th, and 8th grade talented and gifted.” “Because i love reading and math is really important in life.”
Mrs. Colsch said, “6th and 8th grade science an 6th grade study hall.” “Because I love science, nature, and studying about what is all around us.”
Mrs. Pape said, “P.E. and special ed.” “Because I think people should be athletic.”
Mrs. Ruff said, “4th, 5th, and 6th grade general music, middle school chorus, and music director of the musical.” “Because I went to school for those subjects.”
Mrs. Anderson said, “8th grade literature, 8th grade SCR, 6th grade Native Americans, and 8th grade world culture.” “Because I enjoy reading and I want to get others to enjoy reading, everyone should know more than 1 language, and I think its important to be in touch with our past.
